I am excited about the possibility of helping students gain the motivation to improve their skills, and excel in subjects in which they are having trouble.I have worked as a substitute teacher for the public school system, where I taught students in grades 6th-12th. I have been involved in alumni tutoring for the high school, where I helped students get ready for finals, and I have even worked with an AP World History class. I was fortunate enough to have a wonderful mentor teacher who was instrumental in helping me gain and improve upon my teaching skills.I am available to assist students in the PSAT (Writing Skills and Critical Reading), SAT (Math, Writing, and Critical Reading), American History, European History, Geography, IB History HL and SL, IB World Religions SL, Religious Studies, Social Studies, AP World History, and World History. I also offer summer tutoring to help students catch up between semesters.I am a graduate of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. There, I earned dual degrees in History and Education.In my spare time, I enjoy sitting down and reading a good book. I also like to outdoor exercise such as running.
